Life Level Examples, Both Real and Fictitious

Linus Van Pelt

Life Level 3

Linus Van Pelt has an undying devotion to the Great Pumpkin -- a being which, he says, comes out on Halloween night to give candy and gifts to the good little boys and girls who believe in him. Not the belief itself, but rather the reasons and causes for his belief show us that Linus is a prime example of Life Level 3.

How do we know he operates at Life Level 3 (LL3)? Well, we can rule-out LL0 since he is able to think coherently and isn't some sort of raving lunatic. We know he is not LL1 because he does not believe in the Great Pumpkin for personal, selfish gain. Though he wants the Great Pumpkin to appear and give candy and gifts to him and others like him, this desire is not the primary source for his belief, enthusiasm, or actions regarding the Great Pumpkin, or anything else for that matter. And unlike an LL2 person, there is no popular trend, or anything anyone (be it his friend Charlie Brown, his sister Lucy, or his would-be girlfriend Sally) can say that can make him believe or disbelieve in the Great Pumpkin's existance. Linus' beliefs are self-sustained, and nothing can affect them except Linus alone. Life Level 3 has this advantage over LLs 2 and below, making him a generally better and happier person than he would otherwise be. He has his beliefs and he is sticking to them, come Hell or high water.

Though sometimes "Hell or high water" are exactly what we need to align our paradigms with Reality, with what is actually true. It would be best, of course, if it didn't have to come to such drastic measures; if instead we could be fluid enough to match our beliefs with what's real. If we want to be happier and operate in a better way than LL3, we can choose to drop all preconceptions, biases, and beliefs and leap fearlessly into real truth, whatever and wherever it might be. Linus is given the opportunity to do this many times, but any consideration that the Great Pumpkin could possibly be a figment of his imagination is appalling to him, and once he even shouts at Charlie Brown for suggesting it. Life Level 4 is all about being open to all possibilities, giving everything a chance to be good or true, and dropping all prejudices, preconceptions, and biases. It is willing to be wrong at the drop of a hat, and earnestly seeks for truth, no matter the cost or the change required in one's paradigm. Linus is not willing to do that, so we can assess that operates squarely in LL3.

What thoughts or beliefs or ethical codes are you afraid to question? What "Great Pumpkins" do you have? If it's a true belief, then there should be no problem questioning it, but you must look on every side of it honestly, earnestly, and with the same sort of strictness you would use on an idea you may not like, or think is false. Run everything unbiasedly through the same tests, and don't hold back what you hope to be true out of fear of it being false, because real truth will sustain itself, and you'll be immeasurably better off for holding to actual truth. Research, dig deep, think it through thoroughly, and then, as Mar in Light of Ar puts it, always be ready to eat your own beliefs.

And soon enough, you'll discover that Reality is a lot cooler than the Great Pumpkin could ever be.

So...Where is White Knight, anyway?

Wow, it's been a while!

This is just a short note to let everyone know I'm still here, though I have no idea when I might be appearing in the cave again. If any of you have spoken to fallcer37, he may have told you that I "took my show on the road" so-to-speak. That is more or less the case. :) One of these days (hopefully sooner, rather than later) my home will have a foundation instead of just four wheels, and I'll be able to join all of you on Uru once more! Until then, I'm looking for a place to settle down, and at the same time sharing the Life Levels with people I meet.

While you wait, I suggest you read Light of Ar so we can have something to talk about when I show my face again in the cave! What does a fictional modern-fantasy book have to do with Life Levels and the Guild of Peasants? Read the currently posted chapters (the Prologue through Chapter 21 for now) and find out! Trust me (and feel free to ask fallcer37 and ShadeTree about it, too), we'll have plenty to talk about after you've read those chapters. The author is currently polishing Chapter 22, and those of you who have been waiting so long for it, you will not be disappointed!

RIP, Actiontec M1000

You may or may not be aware of this, but I no longer have the ability to visit the Cavern since my modem (an Actiontec M1000, if you care to know) died a few days ago. I will continue to update this blog, and answer questions about the Guild, but just know that answers will come very slowly, as I can only access the internet by visiting my local library. As soon as I can afford it, I will buy myself a new modem and enter the Cavern once more!

I sincerely hope that I left a good foot-print on the lands of D'ni, and that the Uru Community continues to become better in my absence. I have left fallcer37 and ShadeTree "in charge" (as much as someone can be "in charge" in a Guild like this...), so speak to them about anything on your mind, if you can't get to me as fast as you'd like. Gotta go! I'm out of time!

Weekly Guild of Peasants Meetings

Everyone is invited to the Guild of Peasants meeting that will be held every Saturday at 15:00 KI time (3PM MST, 5PM EST) in the Guild of Peasants' Bevin.

The Guild of Peasants' mission is to strengthen and support all other groups, events, and activities of the Cavern, in order to make the Uru Community better for all. This is done under the philosophy that since a community of any kind is only as good as its people (its "peasants"), improvement of the quality of the people will make a better community overall. We accomplish this by a daily study and application of the Life Level System, which measures our method of operation, and how we can progress to operate in better ways. Improving our method of operation means being driven by better and better things in everything we do. This will lead us to be more virtuous (e.g. more creative; more patient; more friendly; etc), which in turn will give us greater knowledge and skills (e.g. talented at creating new things; good at waiting, listening, or learning; good charisma, or knowing how to make friends; etc), making it so we have better, longer-lasting possessions (e.g. projects we've completed; anything that requires an education; friends or companions; etc).

D'ni and every fallen society have fallen because while the people may have been strong in the areas of possessions and skills, they were weak in the areas of virtues and operation methods (Life Levels). Only by improving our own individual Life Level can we make every group in Uru, as well as the entire Uru Community, better for everyone.

da BOMB and da Life Levels

Before I tell you about the meeting at 15:00 KI time, I want to bring you up to date with a historic (or is it an historic?) event that began at 11:00 KI time the same day. The people involved in this event strongly demonstrated various Life Levels and why that System is so crucial to everything we do and are.

It began at the end of the Guilds Fair on July 3 in Kirel. OHB (the maker of OHBot, a spiffy AI program speaking through a regular avatar like we do) announced to everyone that absolutely nothing was going to happen on Saturday, July 10, at 11:00 KI time in Ae'gura. And instead of me giving you every detail from my point of view, you can just click here to read the full report by the Guild of Messengers of what happened.

We still met at 15:00 KI time in the Guild of Peasants' Bevin, even though all of the regular visitors to the meetings were busy trying to disarm the bomb. Kaveman, ShadeTree, and I all discussed the issue of the bomb-threat, and how regular people like us were reacting to it. We reviewed the first few Life Levels so we could all be on the same page, but then RL called for some of us, and the meeting was adjourned. I returned to Ae'gura (having been gone for about 30-45 minutes by now, but otherwise I was there from the beginning to the end), and racked my brain some more for a solution to the bomb problem. (As a side note, in the end my theories weren't even close! I'm certainly no mathematician, so I didn't have much of a prayer of figuring it out. But I tried!)

Many harsh and unnecessary words were flung back and forth in the crowd as tension and pride ran high. Others kept to themselves and studied the strange code OHB had sent to us. One sad thing this experience showed us is that much of the beauty of the Uru Community has been quietly disintegrating behind the scenes over the last few months and years; making the need for a Guild like ours all the greater, and the desire for it all the less. Here, on the MO:ULa forums, I discuss my views on how people were behaving in the Cavern, though I suggest you go back and read the whole thread as well.

Many have found themselves in Loshem's position (see the same forum thread), suggesting solutions from the outside-in, like Cyan charging money for people to take part in Uru. Others, like Christian Walther, think that it's "just what humans do, and the only way to ever get anywhere is to learn to ignore it." Loshem, Christian, and all others who have similar thoughts, we as the Guild of Peasants must respectfully but firmly disagree. I already posted a response on the forums to Loshem's comments, mainly pointing out (as best I could at such a late hour for me) that real solutions come from the inside-out, not the other way around. As for those who sigh, shrug, and say that the way people acted in Ae'gura was just "human nature" and we just need to ignore it, let me say a few words here about human nature.

First and foremost, human nature is fluid. It changes -- or at least it can change -- and can be very different from person to person. Two people from different times, places, and especially cultures will likely have very different natures. Life Levels themselves could easily be called "Human Nature Levels", though I've always liked "Life Levels" better than anything else I've thought of yet. The point is that human nature can and often does change! Ignoring the problem will only let it fester until it's too late to do anything about it! Beginning now to change yourself on the inside will change your own nature to something better, making you a more capable human being over-all! We all saw that if there had been more respect in the Cavern, more concern for others, and especially more holding true to one's own code of conduct, the whole "bomb scare" would have been monumentally more enjoyable for everyone involved!

And we can each change all of this for the better. Start with your inward self, and then reach out a helping hand to those who are struggling to do the same. When I was young, I operated in the lower Life Levels, and had I said at the time that that's just the way things are, then I'd probably still be thinking in those ways now. But I don't. I learned and grew and became something better, something more. We're told every day that the only things we can change are more external stuff like strength, skills, and knowledge. That's because most people don't know how to change their very natures, because they need the Life Level System to do it!

If I sounded enthusiastic about all of this, that's because I am. I do not want to come off harsh or mean, though, because I don't want to be either of those. But this subject is so important to me, and it's so vital that we all understand something that could really fix so much of what's been deemed "unfixable" by our culture (like human nature). Good, wise, influential men and women have lived and still do live, but as we try to emulate them, it's often difficult to pinpoint exactly how they became such incredible people. By improving your own Life Level, it's suddenly not so difficult anymore.

I know that's something like 20 minutes from when I'm typing this, but I've been busy in RL, and I only just remembered the meeting in Kirel. Here's what I posted on the Left Imager in the Guild of Peasants Bevin:

"At 13:00 KI time (1PM KI time) on the first Saturday of every month there is an all-guilds meeting in Kirel. The Guild of Peasants not only supports every Guild, but one of its main goals is to strengthen every member of every Guild from the inside-out, making them better-functioning and more productive in every way. Consequently, our usual meeting will be with all of the other Guilds on the first Saturdays, and will be at 13:00 KI time in Kirel.

This time, however, I also removed the times that things were said, and rearranged the order of what was said to get rid of "Chat Lag". For example, I by eliminating "Chat Lag" I mean changing something like this...

White Knight: :) huh, you're actually one of the first here to be curious about me

White Knight: And I like that

White Knight: Well, I want to communicate as best I can how all-encompassing this system is, and how it affects everything

Church: I think you covered that when you said there are 625 "steps"

White Knight: lol, I said 625 because I was being extremely IC...625 is 25X25, so it's a really special number to the D'ni. But the point is that Life Levels themselves go on and on forever

Church: lol- Ah I see- Well, point was made I think ;)

Church: Well I think that anyone who has ever even heard of a life system will assume that it encompasses everything

White Knight: You'd be surprised...

White Knight: Most I've spoken to have shrugged it off and said "Huh, well that's nice...anyway, what's this got to do with anything, exactly...?"

Church: Really!?

Church: See- a problem that I see is that if you start talking like- this affects everything and go way basic- you'll lose some who will roll their eyes and move on

Church: But if you start talking with some things assumed- you may lose people who are just being exposed to stuff like this

White Knight: I mean they don't see the system as being applicable in their day-to-day lives

Church: Those people actually read the site?

White Knight: I really wonder sometimes...

Church: I glanced at the site and it's pretty self-explanatory

White Knight: Good, I'm glad

Church: You specifically address how using these steps directly affect social interaction- you even put in a specific point of behavior in the Cavern

Church: I mean- how specific do they want!? LOL!

White Knight: Some people will only see the surface of things, though...

White Knight: So were you wondering more about *me*, or about how the Life Levels were developed, or something else?

Church: On a personal level- I was wondering about you

Church: If I can ask

White Knight: Yeah, it's no problem

Church: OK- Personal question then

Church: What kind of person puts themselves out there to offer advice on moral values and personal behavior?

Church: Who would put themself up for that kind of .... publicity?

White Knight: I guess someone who would sacrifice himself (not literally... I mean sacrifice his time, privacy, etc) if it means making the world a better place -- which means helping other people to be better and happier

White Knight shrugs

Church: And what about when people start telling you to mind your own business?

Church: Or other negative things- because I think that will happen eventually

Church: And when it eventually comes down to being negative about you personally- are you up for that?

White Knight: Believe me, it already has! Not in the Cavern yet, fortunately.

Church: I do believe it

Church: It's bound to happen when people start talking about improvement

White Knight: The Life Levels are something that I can teach and help people through, but ultimately they're the ones who have to "walk through the doorway" as it's said in the Matrix...if they don't want my help, then I'll leave them with what I taught them and hope for the best

Church: One more question if you don't mind---

White Knight: Keep 'em coming!

Church: Are you open minded enough to change your steps?

White Knight: To answer simply: Yes.

Church: But what if you one day discover that some basic thing of what you believe is wrong- or can be improved on- or whatever...

White Knight: I literally discover things like that *every* day

Tomorrow's Meeting

On Saturday, 12 June, 2010, at 15:00 KI time, the Guild of Peasants will be holding a meeting in the Guild of Peasants' Bevin. If you 1) think of yourself as a regular person (a "Peasant"), 2) want to work with other regular people to help make the Cavern a better place for everyone, and 3) want your voice to be heard, then you are invited!

We'll discuss how we can accomplish numbers 2 and 3 written above, and as always everyone's input will be greatly appreciated. While the Life Level System will be talked about as our Guild's greatest tool, we will not dwell long on explaining the System to everyone. Instead, White Knight will send out KImails that do all the explaining to those who need them, and of course this website will always be open to you. For now, refer all questions to White Knight by asking him publicly, PMing him, KImailing him, or emailing him at FanOfAr@gmail.com.

Sorry it has taken me so long to type this out...there were things on the Surface that demanded my attention for the past few days...

So anyway, this week I'll give an overview of what happened and what was discussed, instead of a whole Chat Log. The meeting was scheduled to begin at 15:00 KI time, but a few minutes into it, I found out that an all-Guilds meeting was happening in Kirel and had been going for a couple hours already. At that moment, this Guild's meeting was put on an immediate hold, and those who had already shown up and I went directly to Kirel.

After other Guilds were presented and talked about, I was asked to go to the front of the (very large) group and explain to everyone what the Guild of Peasants is and what it does -- a very difficult task by itself, to say nothing of my already slow typing and a one-year-old in the room who demanded my attention at that exact same moment! ;) But with plenty of help from a fellow Peasant (Thank you again, Netty!!!), I was able to get some necessary KImails sent out to everyone attending the meeting. These KImails explained what the Guild is, what the Life level System is, and how it works. For the most part the sudden large meeting went very well. In other ways, though...well, keep reading.

There were some who asked (as others have before) if the Life Level System is some sort of a "self-help" program. There were others who wondered if the Guild was some sort of in-Cavern "A.A." group, or something similar. And then there were a few who actually said that the Guild of Peasants sounded to them like a cult. We all have our different takes on these kinds of things, our own definitions and implications. But allow me to help us all get us on the same page, here:

The Guild of Peasants is meant to give a voice to every regular explorer in the Cavern, but we'll be nothing but mindless, chaotic rabble unless we each use the Life Level System to improve ourselves. And such improvement is paramount to avoiding what happened to D'ni, and it also includes letting every member of the Cavern's voice be heard. The Life Level System may be a means of self-improvement, but that doesn't mean it falls into the same category of "self-help" things like "7 Habits of Highly Effective People", "12 Step" formulas, or anything else. Those are great things, but aside from the fact that they deal with improving Virtues and Skills while giving little thought to Life Levels, "self-help" programs like those are separate from the purpose of this Guild. They are good, but not as effective at uniting everyone with different backgrounds, opinions, and beliefs as the Life Level System is. And lastly, the Guild of Peasants is not a cult! This may have originally been said as a joke, which I'm fine with, but I want to make sure no one else is confused by that. I may be the organizer of this Guild, but I'm only a Peasant -- just some nobody sitting by his computer and typing on a blog! I'm just a guy who wants to make a positive difference in this world. My dream is that you will listen to, appreciate, and apply the Life Level System (in and out of the Cavern), and that I can then hand-off this Guild's "leadership" to all of you. A stagnating group of LL1 or 2 people will be disorganized, separate from each other, and proud -- just asking for D'ni-like destruction to fall on them. But a group of people who are always progressing, whether in Life Levels 2, 3, 4, 5, or wherever, as long as such a group is always becoming better, will stand unified (even with their own personal differences), and their cultures will be strengthened to the point of lasting indefinitely. So the Guild of Peasants is perhaps the furthest thing from a cult, and I'm even hoping to not be the one in charge of meetings, this blog, etc., for much longer because of others raising their Life Level and teaching this to everyone else.

Since I'm writing a pretty lengthy post called "The Universality of Life Levels", I decided to focus on that subject when we returned from Kirel to the Guild of Peasants' Bevin. A few other Peasants and I met and talked about how every problem in the world is either caused or amplified by diminishing Life Levels. Wars, political nonsense, crime, terrorism, widespread economic hardship, and many other things are examples of immediate effects of low Life Levels. Other things like natural disasters, hereditary diseases, and injuries from complete accidents are examples of things that can become better or worse depending on how we deal with them -- depending on our Life Level. We then started to talk about how good things in this world are caused or amplified by rising Life Levels, but just then several of us, including myself, were being called by things on the Surface. I was, however, able to get my microphone working before I logged out (yay!), so in the future I may be able to use it to explain more complex concepts that are really hard for me to type. The meeting was then adjourned until the following Saturday (this Saturday, 6/12/2010, at 15:00 KI time in the Guild of Peasants' Bevin).

Today's Meeting

Today we will meet in the Guild of Peasants' Bevin at 3PM (15:00) KI time. Sorry for the lack of notice...I've been very busy here on the surface. This week, I hope to work with more of you directly about improving your particular personal Life Level, and so I have a few KImails ready that I can send out to answer basic questions for new-comers.

Tell all your friends about the Guild, but more importantly, apply the Life Levels to your own life, both in and out of the Cavern, and grow to become a better person. I don't want to sound like I'm an alarmist preaching "Doomsday" stuff or something, but unless we all raise our own Life Levels, D'ni's fate (or something similar) will become a real possibility for us. Lack of good Life Levels in a society will lead to a lack of trust, an excess of pride, a separation of people, and a fragmented society. Pretty soon there would be no society to speak of at all. Please take this all seriously! We'll discuss this more at the meeting at 3PM, so I'll see you there!

The King's Guard

Yesterday a visitor by the name of "The King's Guard" dropped by the Guild of Peasants' Bevin (or "'Hood"...I really don't care which one is "proper", or anything, but since I prefer "Bevin" I will use "Bevin"). Unfortunately, he had misunderstood the purpose of this guild, thinking it stood in direct opposition to his group. Fortunately, that misunderstanding faded quickly. For the sake of all groups and guilds, and especially for those involved with either this guild or the King's Guard, allow me to dispel any/all misunderstandings you may have about either of these two groups, and how we relate to each other. I will do this to the best of my ability, so please understand that I don't yet understand everything about the King's Guard...but I understand enough to know that I want us to work together with them.

Simply stated, do your best to be Life Level 4 about what I say here.

Like this guild, the King's Guard is an IC (In-Character/In-Cavern, depending on who you talk to) group, and as explained here, it has 4 main points that describe it:

1) The King's Guard serves the King as long as the King's actions are in the best interest of the People. If he fails to do so, the Guard shall follow other rules until new King is pronounced.

2) The King's Guard will work with, and insure the safety of the Guilds and any other organization as long as they do not seek to usurp the Authority of the King.

3) The King's Guard will protect the People and the city at all costs.

4) The King's Guard will only act with violence if violence is first thrust upon them.

There are two basic ways of solving problems and ensuring peace within a society: working from the inside-out, and working from the outside-in. By themselves, neither is better than the other, but also by themselves, both are incomplete. Though a healthy society cannot grow and stay healthy without a good "structural foundation" and "materials" (virtues and Life Levels), growth will only go so far without the necessary care for exterior things, too. The problem with D'ni, as well as all societies that have or will collapse, is that they focus only on the exterior, and give little if any attention to the invisible interior. As a result, often only the words of the Nobles are heard, while the Least are swept silently away by the whims of the Proud.

For the moment at least, and according to my limited understanding, the King's Guard focuses exclusively on fixing problems (and protecting us from potential ones) at an outward level, which by itself is perfectly fine. What makes this route dangerous is when we start thinking that that is the only way to solve problems. When we think that Life Level 3 honor and exactness is enough, we end up getting bogged-down with unnecessary legislation and taxes, and let laws and leaders do the thinking for us. Life Level 1 Kings can camouflage in a sea of Life Level 2 and 3 Peasants, but as soon as the Great and the Least raise themselves to Life Level 4, intentions on all sides begin to become clear. The key, then, is to raise everyone's Life Level, whether a Noble, a Peasant, or somewhere in-between. Only then can we be sure that the People have a good King, and that the King will be honored by his People.

So the final analysis? Feel free to quote this, if you'd like: The Guild of Peasants, while not directly affiliated with any other guild currently in operation, supports the efforts of the King's Guard along with all other good groups, and will do everything it can to make the People of D'ni better so as to better spot a bad King, and better serve a good one.

As a side note, and if you'll permit me to say so, this is just one example of how all-encompassing the Guild of Peasants and the Life Level System are. We all have inward qualities and intentions that need to be strengthened, and in the presence of the Maker, even the Greatest King is but a Peasant. We would love to work with you too, whoever you may be, in the endeavors of your guild or group. I only ask that your intentions are good and that you seek in some way, great or small, to make New D'ni better for all of us.

Below is the transcript of the most recent Guild of Peasants meeting. We had a much greater turn-out than the previous week, and that means there were almost as many negatives as there were positives. A total of almost 20 people were involved in the meeting at one time or another, with the most at once being 12. However, very few understood what the meeting was about or what the "field trip" was for, which is probably my fault, as I should have informed everyone better. Consequently, many tangents ensued, a troll trolled, only 4 or 5 were still participating at the end, and only the most basic of information was able to be shared.

Don't start thinking it was a complete failure, though! We all (including myself) learned a lot more about our own (and each others') methods of operation, how the Life Level System can work in our own lives, and what we can do to make meetings better. As for that last part, from now on I will send out KI-mails to everyone who needs them, explaining the basics of the Guild, Life Levels, and how low Life Levels caused the pride that made D'ni fall. That way the preliminary, introductory stuff can be covered quickly, and we can move more quickly in getting to the real meat of the Guild of Peasants: helping each other (both inside and outside of the Guild) fully achieve Life Level 4, and prepare for Life Level 5. What is Life level 5? If you really, honestly think you're at least solidly in Life Level 4, then email, KI-mail, or PM me, and I'll tell you about it. Trust me, you'll understand then why I can't just go around talking to everyone about Life Levels 5 and above.

I also want suggestions for games we can play as a large or small group, even if they have nothing to do with the Guild's purpose. I like the idea of Sardines, and a Heek tournament might not be a bad idea, either. Again, email, KI-mail, or PM me if you have any suggestions about anything for the Guild. It's called the Guild of Peasants for a reason! We all need to contribute to make Yeesha's dream of New D'ni a reality!

This Week's Meeting...

This Saturday we will be meeting at 4PM KI-time instead of at 2PM like last week. As suggested by a member of our last meeting (I think it was Steven1987), we will be taking a field-trip! This week we will visit the Palace in Ae'gura (the round room with all the books about the ancient D'ni Kings) and discuss how the Life Levels (both low and high) of the Kings and the people affected the overall state of society. Depending on time and whether people want to, we may all go from there to the final restless place--I mean, resting place--of Guild Master Kadish in White Knight's Kadish Tolesa.

Make sure your volume is on and all audio settings are such that you will be able to hear my voice through my microphone. It will allow for much more material to be covered in a quicker, more efficient way. Whether I am able to be heard or not, I will be recording the chat-log so I can post it here for any/all who were unable to get to the meeting. (Um, if any of you know how to do that, please let me know...I'm going to be researching it, but if you could either post it in the comments, email me, or KImail me, it would be very helpful. Thanks!)

Remember: the main purpose of the Guild of Peasants is to revolutionize society from the inside-out, beginning with the regular "peasantry" like you and me. This is accomplished with the Life Level System, which, if shared and internalized, will ensure that the Cavern will remain open (i.e. - no more exploitation of the server, and much more unity in keeping the Cavern open) and that our own society won't follow in D'ni's footsteps.

Awesome Meeting, Everyone!

Thank you everyone for coming to the meeting! I expected it would only last an hour or so at the most. Boy was I surprised when it went for almost two-and-a-half hours! This might be because no one could hear me over my microphone, and so I had to type instead. Or maybe because it was pretty much just an orienting meeting about the Guild itself and the Life Level System. We may never know how it would have turned out otherwise...

We'll meet again next Saturday, but perhaps in the evening so we get a slightly different crowd than before, and to test what time works best for everyone. I'll give more details later. We had a good turnout today, especially for the very first meeting ever, of about 10 people in total, the highest at one time being 7, and 4 staying there until the end. Thank you very much for visiting, giving input, and internalizing what we talked about. I hope everyone who came will try to raise their Life Level and thereby make both New D'ni and the world up here better places to live.

First Meeting Scheduled for May 22nd, 2PM KI Time!

I now would like to announce the first official meeting of the Guild of Peasants! It will be in the auditorium of the Guild of Peasants' Bevin, this Saturday May 22, at 2PM KI time, and will last for as long as it goes. We'll cover a lot of the introductory material in what I hope to be a better way than some of you were first given. It will then become a free-for-all discussion answering questions, clarifying things I said that may have been confusing, and talking about ways we can all change to higher Life Levels, and help others do the same. Tell your Buddies about it, and try out the Life Levels for yourself! I'm hoping I won't be the only Life Level teacher for long, so the more you can internalize, the better!
